Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires an additional 4-6 years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. McWatters manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions. Dr. McWatters practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise encompassing dental implants, bone grafting and reconstructive procedures, difficult tooth extractions, oral pathology and infections, as well as facial trauma and corrective jaw surgery.

Surgical Staff

The surgical staff at Steele Creek Oral Surgery are compassionate and experienced oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in the administration of IV sedation and surgery. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified.
